This is why I live in New York 2014

Everyone keeps saying the subway is like a sauna. So an improv company turned the 34th Street N/R station into one.

In a similar vein, last night there was a double reed (oboe, bassoon, contrabasson) flash mob, a capoeira demonstration, and a bunch of Jedi Knights and Sith Lords fighting with lightsabers within fifty yards of each other in Washington Square Park. Unfortunately, no video.

I never saw that when I lived a couple of blocks away from the park. But I did break dancing when it was a very new thing, and I once successfully hustle chess.
APF doesn't come in screaming at others about how stupid they are. APF doesn't spam NST with the same tired topic 30 times a month. APF doesn't link to some kook in his mom's basement telling you how to, "Be afraid. Be very afraid" of the world falling down around you. And, when APF is proven wrong, he acknowledges he made a mistake and moves on, rather than harping about "sheeple."
