I could easily be wrong, but I think those boys are cold blooded creatures.

So what's out there that can eat a Great White Shark?

This is what scares me about the ocean. We really have no idea what lives in the deep waters, but if something is big and bad enough to eat a 9 foot Great White Shark I know one thing I wouldn't be in the water trying to find out what it is.

that would be something to see. the scary thing is that according to the tag data, whatever ate the shark cruised around for a bit at not very deep water (relatively speaking).

It's so big, it even merits two threads!

They've decided it was a bigger great white, probably a territory dispute or just plain hunger. Temperatures & depths from the readings support that.

Nine foot great white? That's a baby. Probably weighed 400 lbs.

They got 19 footers out by the Farallones that weigh three thousand pounds.

Considering my lack of gills, fins, or other features that would make me suitable for oceanic living, I don't give a sh!t.

Yeah, they said it was likely a 16ft great white that would have eaten it. Not some crazy monster.
