That the world is explicable is miraculous, and so explanations need not be the undoing of miracles.

We never learn anything, never in the world, and in spite of all the history books written. Thereís a regular warehouse of fine suggestions, and if weíre not better it isnít because there arenít plenty of marvelous and true ideas to draw on, but because our vanity weighs more than all of them put together.

    14) Kyle Fuller, cb, Virginia Tech. not popular to skip Gilbert here, i'm sure, but my trepidations over him remain strong. (and if the Bears draft him, i hope he proves me dead wrong.)
    51) Deone Bucannon, s, Washington St. and i feel like dancing cos i think i just robbed a bank.
    82) Will Sutton, dt, Arizona St. very close to grabbing Desir as my Emery Double-Up this draft, but Sutton seems pretty good value here.
    117) Charles Sims, rb, West Virginia. best player available on my board by a wide enough margin that other needs get moved to later rounds.
    156) Kevin Pierre-Louis, olb, Boston College. last of the LBs i really like in the draft. this guy, not Bostic, becomes Briggs' heir apparent.
    183) Dontae Johnson, cb-s, North Carolina St. hard to think he'll last this long unless there's unpublicized red flags, but i'll sure take him here.
    191) Keith Wenning, qb, Ball St. yeah, i know what Phil said. i don't care. i like Wenning, and would probably IR/redshirt him this year anyway.

UDFAs i'd target: Garrett Scott, t, Marshall; Bennett Jackson, db, Notre Dame (perfect guy to try and convert from cb -> s) Austin Wentworth, g, Fresno St; Terrence Fede, de, Marist; Kerry Hyder, dt, Texas Tech; Demetrius Rhaney, c, Tennessee St; Mohammed Seisay, cb, Nebraska; Levi Brown , nt, Temple; Dustin Greenwell, te, St Francis (IL); and Adham Talaat, dt-de, Gallaudet.
Your Chicago Bears: still learning about this newfangled thing called the "forward pass."

I'm surprised how many of you want Sutton in the 3rd.

    I'll leave Bucannon alone, today.

If the reports are true that his coaches asked him to put on all that weight last year (and that he crash-dieted in an effort to get back below 300 for the combine and stuff), then he's a ridiculous value at #82. The guy who played in 2012 doesn't sniff the third round.

And we just happen to need someone who plays like him.

    I'll leave Bucannon alone, today.
    Okey-doke.

    Not looking ahead...

    14)Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
51)Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State - hard to pass up on Easley here, but with these 2 first picks our secondary gets nice injection of talent.
82)Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State - not a bad consolation prize
    117)Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia
    156)Adrian Hubbard, OLB, Alabama
    183)Zach Fulton, OG, Tennessee
191)Dontae Johnson, CB/S, North Carolina St.
