Navy says goodbye to sub damaged by worker's arson

    Repairs cost too much.

The guy who set the fire (to go home early), Casey James Fury was given a 17-year prison sentence and ordered to pay $400 million in restitution.

He'll be 42 when gets out of prison then is on a payment plan of $20M/year until he retires I guess.

I remember this story. Wasn't the guy doing it so he could get out of work and go see his girlfriend? Talk about a colossal blunder. He's lucky nobody got killed or he'd never see daylight again. As it is, he's got one whopper of a debt.
