If he is there at #14, I think it is a no brainer that we take him. Would be very surprised that we didn't. I believe he ran a 4.35 40 yard dash and was extremely productive in college.
He also is a pretty big corner at 6ft and had the third best bench press of DBs at the combine (in addition to the fastest time). Supposedly he was great in drills as well and showed loose hips. As a return guy I understand he was one return touchdown away from the FBS record.
Another element in John Hoke. Before he came to the Bears, Peanut wasn't the turnover monster he had become and Jennings was good but not pro bowl good. If he could work the same magic on a guy with the tools Gilbert has, he'll be outstanding.
