    1. Chicago doesn't have the cap room to take on Suh's contract.
    2. Why would any team trade big draft picks for a player who is not playing up to his contract value?

    Senseless.
    Wouldn't it be great if we booted the 200 lawyers from the House and Senate and replaced them with economists? That way, we'd stop harming our economy with laws that would apply to the politicians, too.

    At $22+ mill in 2014 there us no way the bears could afford him. But I hope this story is true that the Lions are trying to move him, that can only help the Bears

    Interesting article all the same. I agree with MikeFive and Biggix that he's not a reality at that figure, but it's nice to see the Lions have to struggle with the salary cap since they were being advertised as a "turn-key" team for an coach that replaced Jim Schwartz...

    I assume this is a back-loaded figure. I don't think we could afford him at his actual fair market value and IF we're going to a 3-4, I think we would have to play him at DE? I don't know.
