Jerry Jones further emasculates his head coach

Jerrr Jones, after taking play-calling duties from Jason Garrett and giving them to Bill Callahan, has now brought in Scott Linehan to call offensive plays for the Cowboys. All after saying last year that Tony Romo would have more say over play-calling, and an ability to audible more.

Not that this is dysfunctional or anything though...

Finally, Jerry does something at least not wrong. But Iggies obsession rings true.

And by not wrong, if you're going to keep JG as your puppet for the Love Of Pete keep him away from a headset.

Looks like he also reassigned Monte Kiffin.

    Marinelli is the new DC.

Jerry always thinks he's just one little tweak, one little twang, one little cuynt hair from breaking through. And he's right. It's HIM.

Jones is bringing in Linehan because Callahan is gone next year. If he does well he'll be the head coach next year...or mid year.

Ownership is BY FAR the most Important ingredient to success in sports and really any business. At least IMO.

Be wiling to spend what it takes, hire smart people that can get the job done and get the F out of the way!

I have said this repeatedly after Jones won his last SB with the team that Jimmy built. As long as Jerry Jones is the GM the Cowboys will never win another Superbowl. I may even go a step further and say that as long as Jerry Jones is calling the shots the Cowboys will not even make it to another Superbowl.

His ego is his undoing. He can't handle the fact that Jimmy Johnson gets all the credit and he gets none. He has done nothing but prove everyone right by his stupidity.

So much so that they've renamed the Peter Principle to...

    The Jerry Principal.

In the business world the extremely rich tend to have the same ego's as prima donna players. They can't handle someone else getting credit.

Jerry Jones ruined a Dynasty. The Jimmy Johnson led Cowboys had the makings of a Boston Celtics type Dynasty. Then Barry Switzer made it worse. Switzer was a buffoon and because he won a SB it gave Jerry Jones a false sense of security. I could have led that team to a championship. They were that good.

What's sad is that Philly can't even win a ring while two of the four divisional teams play with a hand tied behind their back due to terrible ownership. The Giants have parlayed this into two rings in the past decade. We have none.
