If the end game is to lose, we should keep rolling him out there. The defense got better when he got kicked out.

Seriously though, bad player and bad guy, get rid of his worthless ass.

Cook has cost himself a TON of money this season. We actually got lucky in that regard. If he would have played somewhat well, we might have handed him too big of a deal. Now we know that we just have to move on.

....also Rhodes has played decent as of late which is nice. In fact all the 1st round rookies are progressing nicely. Not the type of huge impact that you would hope for, but all should be solid starters in time with still a lot of upside left in all 3 of them.

Going to be one hell of an offseason this coming year. We are going to have a glaring hole defensively on all 3 levels: DE, LB and CB. And then we still have OL to figure out as well. Then of course there is that little QB position that will have to be figured out too.

After watching Allen suck up WAY too much money this offseason, it will be interesting to see if the Vike's learn their lesson and get out of the Greenway contract. We either need to negotiate him way down off his current contract or release him as his play is no where near the 2 years $13.5 million we still would owe him after this season. But the same thing was true of Allen and they still did nothing. I still am shocked that they didn't work on a more friendly extention instead of just letthing him play out this single huge money year.

Better to pay him this year and wish him luck next. As great as he was he's not much more than dead weight now so even a modest extension would be counterproductive.

The Vikings are going to have to hit on some mid-range free agents this offseason while drafting exceptionally well in order to salvage what is left in AD.

I'm still curious as to what has happened with Freeman, paying the guy $2M to sit on the bench and not even see if what he can and cannot do. Have to believe he pissed in somebody's Wheaties!

Greenway has been playing with a fractured wrist in 2 places and is still solid. We have no cap issues, why release a solid player? Stupid.

    2013: $6.9 million, 2014: $6.4 million, 2015: $7 million, 2016: Free Agent

Those numbers are fine unless you sign a QB for big money. Kevin Williams contract is also done and there are zero cap problems.

They need to be active in FA because they need help everywhere.

Greenway is fine. Slightly overpriced, but fine.

Need to sign EGriffin. That will help at DE. I would offer KWilliams some modest money to remain Purple.

They need another S and a CB on D, and they need an OG in the worst way on O. Oh, and a franchise QB too. A real one, not a Ponder.

Yes, they are screwing the pooch on the draft pick, too. Typical.

Most of all they need a new FO and a new Coaching staff. Only then will there be reasons for optimism.

There is really no reason for Greenway to be playing with a broken wrist. Get Mauti and Hodges in there and see what they can do. Take Mitchell and his overreact to every tackle 5 yards down field ass to the bench too. Cole has actually looked like he could be a player 2 weeks after they cut him. See what the other young guys can do.

I agree they should resign Griffin. He has way more potential than Robison.

Also I am typically a fan of sack celebrations but that Robison catch 'n release is really really annoying

Frazier is trying to save his job, so he keeps playing all vets. Guys like Baca should be taking over for veteran FA trash like Charlie Johnson, too, but it isn't going to happen.
