Its a bit more touchy that simply teaching a "culture" or a "religion"...
Like I said, I'm not sure the details of what they are teaching. If they are teaching that some people have two daddies and that's the way the world works, that's no big deal. If they are showing how to lube up and enter a man's *******, that could be a bit much :)
In all seriousness, I"m not sure how it would be part of a standardized test though. Again, needing details.

I had a biology teacher in 9th grade who seemed like he was the only person in the world who could make sexual reproduction sound boring to a bunch of 14- and 15-year-olds.
It embarrasses me that it's only in the last couple of years that I realized that it probably was deliberate.
