not so sure swat. By the numbers, you are right. By watching, i'd say their offense is just a 'tad' better - and our defense is far worse. They have scored more points than we have to date, and allowed less (as your own stats above show - and putting it in a Per game basis stat only minimizes the seeming impact of such small differenetials. Looked at from a % basic (ie, 3pts per game over a 27pt game average is more than 10%). Fact is, they are +31 while we are -13. I'm not saying that we can't win this - we have done very well against DAL recently - but we are also a shell of ourselves on defense as well. Any qb that can pass at all can shred us - and as much as I hate romo - and know that he loves to fall apart and choke in close games - I have a bad feeling that he is going to tear this defense apart. I'm just saying we will come into this game as the underdog, and there is a reason for that. I sincerely hope that we can pull it out and put DAL down like the dogs they are. Should be a nail biter at the start.
I believe Dallas has had 4 tds by returns (D or ST)...that certainly is helping their PPG.
They are not chop liver on O by any means but without Murray..I think they are much easier to stop. They have no running game without that dude.
Their D is just as crappy as ours..plus they will be missing their top player over there.. can't see them stopping us.
We definitely should win this game.
To me..the big issue in this game is our inability win home games. I think we have lost like 7 or 8 in a row at home. That streak needs to end already.
Offensively we will do more than enough to win the game. Defensively, not so much. It is the defense that is going to determine the outcome of the game and two players are going to put up ridiculous numbers on out defense.......Jason Witten and Dez Bryant.
