They are my favorite band of all-time, but I can definitely understand your argument.

Milli Vanilli - Can't believe they only got one vote
Morrissey - I've ALWAYS HATED this guy.
    Hansen
    New Kids
    Vanilla Ice

    fun.

Seems like Creed and Nickelback may be locks, so if you want two different names to fill out the bracket, I'll throw out

    Train
    Coldplay

I think the worst thing about fun is their name which is a bit too precious.

But they are enjoyable band to watch. Good beats and strong vocals.

Very strong vocals. They remind me of Queen minus the guitar heavy backing.

There's a bit of theatrics to their stuff too. Not overwhelming, but enough that it's noticeable.

I understand that Nate writes a lot of material for other artists as well. You can tell there is a background in songwriting.

I must have missed this thread, too late, but clearly Taylor Swift is a #1 seed. She is on the radio 24/7 these days and all of her song suck unless you are 15 years old.

The lead vocals, not much in the way of hooks, stupid (ironic) band name, a sameness that runs through it all...just not my cup of tea. Their ubiquity probably makes my hate more than they deserve, but ***** it, they easily came to mind.

I also don't include any boy-band or pop singers because I'm not supposed to like them in the first place. These are acts clearly marketed to teens and younger. Hating on them is liking hating on Sesame Street because it's not as good as The Wire.
I'm going to type every word I know! Rectangle. America. Megaphone. Monday. Butthole.
