THE DOORS wll not remain Opens, not will they Remain Shut

This guy was the Real Driving Force behind The Doors. http://abcnews.go.com/US/slideshow/D...-Dead-18116446

We were never great friends, but I met up with him and partied with him. Nothing bad to say about him. RIP.

And I gotta warn you guys - the Hardest Part of getting old is you lose all your friends.

That's why you've got to make more, like you's, Mates.

I was a big Robbie Krieger fan but Manzarek's riff on "Light my Fire" is pretty damm iconic.

    RIP Ray.

Looking at that slide slow. It looks like quite a few famous peeps that have died this year have escaped my notice.

I got to meet Ray once and talk with him briefly. Seemed like a cool dude. He also seemed like the most normal member of the Doors. Just like to play music and do his thing without a lot of drama.

He was awesome, but its tough to say anyone besides Jim was the driving force behind The Doors.
