    2013 QB's in draft

this is just for conversation sake hoping that the eagles aren't looking this deep into the QB position. Which QB in the draft this year out of the top ten do you think will step up and become a legit starter for an NFL team if any...(some peoples top 10 might be different but there is a basic group of guys at the top.)

    Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
    Matt Barkley, QB, USC
    E.J. Manuel, QB, Florida State
    Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse
    Mike Glennon, QB, N.C. State
    Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
    Tyler Bray*, QB, Tennessee
    Matt Scott, QB, Arizona
Zac Dysert, QB, Miami of Ohio
    Landry "Lance" Jones, QB, Oklahoma

and just a possible dark horse like..

    Sean Renfree, QB, Duke
    Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State
    Nathan Stanley, QB, Southeastern Louisiana

just lookin for thoughts on what seems to be one of the weaker positions in the draft this year..i will do the same for QB and WR. Reason being most people are talking about the OL and CB and 3-4 defensive guys this draft not to much for the others.

IMO Nassib is the #1 QB in this draft and will become a legitimate NFL starter

EJ Manuel is the only guy we should be looking at imo.

    1. Athletic. Which fits Read O. Cant work without legit threat at QB.
    2. Big. Which reduces chance of injury. Also harder to bring down.
    3. Exp. in Offense.
    4. Smart.
    5. Proven big game winner.

You have to look at fit just as much as anything else and Manuel fits better than anyone else by a mile. Chip is gonna want to run the Read Option quite a bit. He isnt gonna change after seeing SF get to the SB using it (and could have easily won btw). If he had a star pocket passer on the roster coming in...it would be a different story but we dont.

Being a weak crop of QBs, my preference would be EJ in the 2nd; or Matt Scott in the 4th.

I just want Defense and OL in the 1st 3 rounds, unless they go for EJ in the 2nd.

I would not take any QB in this draft, none of them besides maybe Smith and Barkley will be anything more than backups. EJ Manual not impressed even a little bit with him. i would go with what we have at QB for this year and look to draft the next QB for this team next year

Don't really love any of them. IMO most are 3rd rounders or lower but would be OK with Manuel if Chip really feels he's the right guy. I don't want GeNO at all....nada!

I'll consider a QB, but not before the 3rd. If Manuel is there, then sure. If not, then consider Klein (KSU) or Cameron (LA Tech) later.

Collin Klein wont stick in the NFL as a QB imo.

Only QB I'd draft is Geno, around 20 if we could move up from the 2nd. Other than Geno, I'm not drafting anyone else from this class.

Don't disagree about Klein, but in the 6th or 7th, I'll take a shot. The more I read about Zack Dysert, the more I'm considering a 4th round pick on him.
