#4 - Who SHOULD the Eagles pick?

    1. Chiefs - Luke Joeckel, 27%

    2. Jags - Sharrif Floyd, 53% (vs. Geno Smith in run-off)

    3. Raiders - Geno Smith, 36%

I think this is the dream scenario for the Eagles.

This works out quite nicely for us, yeah.

Sharrif Floyd probably shouldn't be an option in the poll, though.

We'll move on quickly here, no one will even remotely catch up. We knew it'd be a no-brainer. Even if Jordan started to get 1 or 2, Fisher will get 3 or 4 more.

It would be between Milliner and Fisher in this scenario IMO. But given that they have signed several corners in FA and no OTs, this would likely be the pick.

Yah, FIsher's a good pick. I do think they need a CB like Milliner though. They have a few #2 or even 3 types and that's it right now.

Should have been a cakewalk for Jordan. You need to let Peters prove he isnt the same player and you dont pick RTs at #4.

Peters' has minimal years left in him either way. You are taking a RT for now, a LT for the future, and maybe the present too depending on Peters' recovery.

Regardless of what Peters says, the Eagles have to know they need to draft some younger OTs after last year. Herremans and Peters both got hurt and both are on the wrong side of 30. If you take Fisher high and Peters comes back 100%, you just move Herremans to guard (where he probably belongs anyway) and play one of them at RT.

I would love to see the Eagles take Jordan over Fisher. That would greatly improve the likelihood of Millner or trade down for the Browns.

    Didn't Herremans start at guard?

Yeah he did. He was a college tackle and always wanted to play there but was not great when he did...

Good thing he's not strictly a right tackle. So let's see, Peters misses any playing this season (he always misses time!) and who do you got at left tackle? ABSOLUTELY no one! Are we forgetting last year? Not to mention we have a pretty big hole at right tackle (everybody knows Herremans is a guard). Franchise tackles are extremely hard to come by and a pass rusher would be a luxury for the Eagles. A franchise tackle is eventually what Fisher is for us (it doesn't matter when), and a rock at right tackle in the mean time. The votes are in . . . FISHER is the cakewalk!

And if Peters doesn't prove he is the same player then what? How many #4 overall picks have the Eagles had over the years??? We won't get this chance again!
