I saw that and the first two thoughts that came to my mind were:

a) what an a-hole question to ask a guy on the radio, and

b) this must be some kind of proof about the effects of concussions on these players, which he has suffered with.

I mean, anybody in their right mind who even hears that question would be like, 'What, WTF are you asking me that shyte for? How many guys banged your Mother?' - but he was dumb enough to answer it.

I'm not excusing the guy, but he's obviously a few bricks short of a wall and this interviewer knew it, set him up just to stir controversy, I figure. Some of these radio people, like those two who called the hospital where Harry's wife was in labor and pranked the nurse who committed suicide... really need a sock in the mouth, and I'm not talking about the wool kind.

Yep. Ted issued some lame apology, like that is going to prevent him from getting stole on if they come into contact.

He was a decent role player particularly in plugging the middle against the run. Unfortunately he's another concussion casualty as a result of all the hits he took and it shows. He's said more then his share of crazy things. Of course he couldn't hold Wilforks jock. Wilfork is a better player, plays with more heart and is a classy guy.

I'd say the internet is as public a forum one can get, and we (as a forum) have judged people countless times based solely on their appearance. That being said, if I knew Vince Wilfork I wouldn't say such things about his wife. Not for fear of retribution, but out of respect to him and his family.
