    Free Agency Thread

Figured it made sense for one big FA thread to talk about moves in. So far recently.

George Wilson agreed to terms with Titans

Dunta Robinson agreed to terms with Chiefs

William Moore Re-signed with Falcons 5 year deal.

Robinson is a nice move to go along with Berry and Flowers. Much better than the Stanford Routt move of last year. I think the Chiefs are making a good run at 2nd place. Even if they gave up way to much for their new starting QB.

Agreed - the Chiefs are making rational moves - I expect to pay off in improvement.

Apparently we visited with Robinson before he chose KC... Thank god. He was a crappy cb last couple of seasons. I'd much rather have almost anyone else.

I hope Bronco bid up his services before he left.

At one point of his career I thought Dunta Robinson was emerging as a top 5 CB in the league. After his knee injury he has declined a bit each year. I like the signing much better than Stanford Routt last year but his decline since his knee injury has been very noticeable.

Little birdie told me we contacted the agents for Falcons CB Brent Grimes and Chargers CB Antoine Cason.

I'm guessing Derek Cox too has been contacted. A Dr. will tell the story on Grimes as I think he is coming off an Achilles injury. Cason has a fair weather history through HS College and the Pros.

It is interesting to me that CB seems to be our top target in FA, but whatever.

    Derek Cox
    Chris Gamble
Sean Smith (Eagles is my guess)
    Tarrel Brown
    Chris Houston

Other CB names to throw out there.

We had about as good of CB this year as any year in recent memory, but we aint playing games at that position. ;)

Imagine one of these guys with Harris sliding over to nickel and Champ. Plus Omar and Tony Carter rounding out depth.

Not really- but I wouldn't be against it.

Wouldn't mind Cason, Ross, Gamble or Grimes.

I'll pass on Ross. Liked him in college however.

Really though, outside our own guys, the only FA I REALLY want is Ellerbee.
