I wouldn't mind Lemonier but not at 17......I don't think he will last till our 2nd rounder because guy who can get to the passer go fast.....if he's there in the 2nd...for sure.

Zaviar Gooden is a guy I'd like to see the team select....I know I've mentioned him before he just seems to be a guy that is always around the ball making things happen....

I agree that 17 is a bit high for Lemonier but maybe if they dropped a bit and picked him up it wouldn't seem like such a stretch. I'm sure he has some concerns as Thinny pointed out but with Harrison gone I'm assuming there will be more than one linebacker taken by Pittsburgh and early as well.

They were probably taking more than one LB even had Harrison stayed. Sylvester gone. Foote could be gone.

Gotta feature they'll be jumping all over whichever of the rush LBs who falls to 17, if any do.

Any chance, maybe even like 10% that Sean Spence will be able to contribute anything?

That's prolly one of the questions the FO is asking the team docs, I'd imagine. Would certainly help the depth at ILB if he can do something this year. I'm presonally not expecting it. Rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. :)

I'm good with the Jones part. I think it's crazy and against my normal policy, but I think I'd definitely be taking Tyrann Mathieu in the 3rd. I feel dirty about it, but the guy would've been a top 10 pick had he played last year.

That would make for some fun building blocks on the defense. Hopefully Kevvy, can get some bodies for Ben to throw to.

Doubt Mathieu is even on their board.

Could be right, but Mike Adams was just as much of a questionable prospect.

Schefter reporting Alabama RB Eddie Lacy won't be participating in their Pro Day due to lingering hamstring tightness. I wonder if now he falls far enough for us to grab him in the 2nd if we wanted him?

I'm on board with Jones in the 1st. He's no doubt the highest player on my draft board they actually have a chance to get. You know me I don't like Te'o and think he'll be a bust. I'd rather we grab a DT or Safety in the 2nd and then BA in the 3rd.

    Jones in the 1st
Ertz in the 2nd unless Lacy is there - They have to be worried somewhat by the Miller injury
Jenkins in the 3rd - I know he's graded as a 2nd rounder, but DT is deep and a few of these guys are going to last longer then expected

I'm not taking Mathieu unless Bacarri isn't there in the 4th.

I think Mathieu has greater issues. Adams wasn't kicked off a team.

Beside the point, really. Adams was put back on their radar by him being completely contrite/begging for them to consider him. I don't see any of that in Mathieu's DNA....and that's from an LSU/Mathieu fan. I suppose anything is possible though.
