That's over the course of 13 drafts though. In 13 drafts:

    2 OL in 1st round(Andrews, Watkins)
    2 OL in 2nd round(Justice, Bobbie Williams)
    1 OL in 3rd round(Brzezinski)
6 OL in 4th round(Welbourn, Scott Peters, Trey Darilek, Herremanns, Jean-Gilles, McGlynn)

That's nothing in comparison to Defensive Line -

6 in 1st round(Simon, McDougle, Patterson, Bunkley, Graham, Cox)
    3 in 2nd round(Abiamiri, Laws, Curry)
    3 in 3rd round(Burgess, Bryan Smith, Te'o-Nesheim)
    1 in 4th round(Jamaal Green)

Now the Chiefs are sticking with the 3-4 so that may mean a focus on OLB but the Chiefs are pretty strong there with Tamba Hali and Justin Houston.

I'm sure that he wants to trade down, but probably won't get the deal he wants. I'm guessing he goes Floyd. I would be shocked if he take Dee with the #1 pick. Has a CB ever been the 1st pick? Doubt it.

Some of that obviously has to do with need. When you inherit a franchise LT in Tra Thomas and then get a great free agent RT in Jon Runyan, you don't need to be picking too many OTs in the first round.

By contrast they had greater needs on the d-line, which they never fully solved.

If KC stays put I'd put my money on either Floyd or Star (depending on his medical situation). I think Floyd is the favorite by far at this point. I can't see OT unless Albert creates a huge stink about getting the tag and threatens to hold out or something.

Considering his history, my bet is a trade down. Having Alex Smith makes this even more probable as he won't be taking Geno Smith which means that one of the teams in the top 6 will be trading up to ensure they get him. QBs are a rare commodity in the NFL and he is leaps and bounds better than the next QB. If something doesn't get done before the draft, it will on draft day. MN likes to panic on the clock and they have done so in the past. They also need a QB. So does ARI. And OAK. And a couple others. One of the teams will trade up and Reid will trade down like he always does. Wouldn't be a bad idea this time around as KC has the #1 pick for a reason ... they need a good bit of help.

I'd be happy with the G, either T, or the CB. The G is very intriguing. Pair him with Kelce and you have your 2 of 3 interior line for the next 10-15 years.

So who might their trade partner be?
I don't think anyone trades up for the #1 pick with ideas of drafting a QB which means someone will want Floyd, Joeckel or Jordan.
    Tampa, Carolina?

Now, if only Vick would follow Reid out the door maybe football would be fun again.

YET.. Reid usually got his OT's from FA - not the draft.

I wouldn't be surprsied to see Reid draft more poor DT's. He has a pinchent for wasting picks there.
