Steelers have a new QB on the roster

Wilson - off the Jagwads, ex Crimson Tide QB. Given the Jags sorry QB situation, adding this castoff does not instill a lot hope in me that the team is actually trying to improve the backup QB situation.

Somebody has to be the #3, I guess. *yawn*

He'll be camp fodder for us in TC, but sure hope they find someone else to develop into more than a so-so #3. Jerrod Johnson where are you and why did you kick Haley in the nuts, only reason I can see why he's not on the roster.

I liked JJ. Only reason I can think of is that he had accuracy issues in what was supposed to be a "timing-based" offense.

That, or maybe he urinated in Tomlin's Cream of Wheat one morning. Looked good regardless though. Who knows?

It will be interesting to see how long guys like Bray and Manuel linger in this class. I'd happily take either if they lasted past round 3(which I suspect may not happen with either) as a developmental type. Both played in pro style offenses, from both under center and in the gun. Those are getting rarer and rarer at the college level with the proliferation of Spread offenses.
