Thanks for the kind words. He continues to be in good spirits. Kind of acts like nothing's wrong. Just doesnt have the use of his right arm. They put pins in his elbow.

Wow, Auggie, a radial head fracture doesnt sound good. Makes a broken bone sound trivial. All the best to you, buddy. Hope that PT heals you up qiuckly.

I've been working on this strategy post for a few days now. It's detailed, but I'm trying to keep it as simple as I can. I will have something up in a new thread today.

Just to clear things up -- a radial head fracture is a fracture in the elbow, not the "head" (see http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=A00073).

I did sustain other injuries, and am actually quite lucky to be alive and able participate here. Had I not been wearing my motorcycle helmet on October 1, KFFL would have no doubt not heard from me again. PT is indeed helping. I still can't straighten my arm completely, and I'll need to get my shoulder scoped and bicep repaired; but I've been back at work full-time for almost three months now, and I get better each day.

Well, I guess I'm glad it was your elbow and not your head, but I dont want to trivialize the damage to your elbow. We're all glad you were wearing yor helmet. Hope you make a full and speedy recovery!

Hey, just had a thought about recruiting. Can I ask someone to take initiative and make a post on the Dave Koch Sports website (http://www.dksports.com/) forums page about this league? I'm assuming there are other people that play in these dorky leagues like us. One of the options of this game is to allow owners to play against each other live over the internet. I'll assume people have leagues likes that and post in that forum. We might get some new players there. And I'd like to let those new guys manage one of these teams to get the hang of our league. And these guys who already know the game wont take as long to get up to speed.

The one thing that we are doing differently is that we created a whole set up players which they dont have. THey are probably playing the standard replays of previous seasons. This would be new to them and I'm guessing it would be of interest to serious football historians and fans. Can someone take the lead on this while I finish up the strategy piece?
