    I think its safe to say kelly wont do all of the same things as he did in college. Small lineman get abused in this league. We all saw first hand how kelce,reynolds etc got handled the last few years.

    I don't think the emphasis is being lean, rather athletic. Though you're correct about the "great shape" comment -- a healthy Jason Peters has always been well conditioned and not to mention an athletic freak. Combine numbers: 6'4 328lbs, 4.93 40 yard dash and at his proday he had a vert jump of 33 1/2.

    the article was about players at skill positions. Linemen were not included in the study. Extapolating from them to Peters is just guessing.

    Having blown out my own achilles (like a cotton ball that was pulled apart) and having had it sewn back together like Peters i would certainly agree that the rehab is long at least a year to get back to where one was at but to suggest that he's done is just guesswork on your part. Peters will be at something like 15 months when he hits training camp and if he's been working as hard as suggested he should be just fine.

    31 yo OL, 340-350 lbs, ruptured achilles...good luck counting on that
