Without having impact OLB you aren't getting any pressure on the QB and are going to have problems stopping the run. The DBs also count on the OLB to not make them cover all day and if your OLB doesn't pressure the QB the DBs are toast.

I'm all for drafting Fisher is JL isn't there and as much as I agree Elam's a stud I think it's just more important to find a young stud OLB. You might be able to sign James Harrison or another OLB who I'm sure can be a stop gap on one side until you can draft a star OLB, but even with Harrison you'd need another OLB to keep Harrison from getting 2 blockers on him every down.
Well I personally thought Brandon Graham would be an excellent fit as a 3-4 OLB coming out of college. I definitely like what I saw from him this past year and I think he could excel in that scheme. I like Phillip Hunt as a situational pass rusher OLB. Didn't see much of Curry this year and I think he would be an ideal 4-3 DE but he could work as a 3-4 OLB, he would need to lose some weight -- though most of these DE we have right now will probably be asked to cut down on some weight to play OLB. Cole is getting up there in age and would need to lose weight, not sure how effective he would be regardless.

I'd give Graham and Curry a try before I invest a high pick on a 3-4 OLB. We have enough holes and we're in rebuilding mode so we can wait off and see if what we have will be good enough. If not we have to address it next year
