As a Pats fan, I'd love to see Harvin traded to NE.... but there is no way I'd trade anything higher than a 3rd round pick for a guy with just 1 year left on his contract (unless an extension was agreed to ahead of time).
Cherish your children for who they are, not who you'd like them to be.

That would obviously be the caveat of the deal, but as a Vikings fan, I don't think your late first is enough for him.

I don't know about that. Late first is pretty decent value all things considered.

What would you give up to get Darell Revis? Kind of a similar situation and I can't imagine him going for much more than a mid to late 1st round value. And flat out Percy isn't nearly as impactful IMO as Revis is. But Revis has a much bigger injury concern hanging over him with the knee than Percy does but in that end that makes them pretty similar in value in my book.

I thought so much about it I started my own thread on it. :)

After I posted I saw your thread and thought "great football minds think alike".

I love the idea of adding a CB like Revis but I would have to know that they have a plan in place to upgrade WR before wanting them to see them pull off that type of trade. We can't go into next year with nothing at WR (and we CAN'T bank on a 1st round WR).

It would be ineresting to find out whether Frazier would be willing to modify his defensive philosophy with Revis in the mix.
