PT has changed my mind. I'd be okay with cutting him.

    this what I originally posted:
I don't mind if we cut Prater. But I've never understood the criticism of missing a 51 yarder kicking an ice brick of a ball.
I never disagreed about cutting Prater. :)

This Bronco team beat a lot of unmotivated and inferior competition, which accounts for much of the scoring disparity and lop-sided results ...

The playoffs are different - as we found out ...

Look at the B/B Patriots - they can blow teams out by 30 and 40 points with regularity during the reg season, but let's review their Super Bowls wins:

-NE 20 Rams 17 ( Adam Vinatieri wins it as time expires )

-NE 32 Carolina 29 ( Adam Vinatieri's FG with 4 seconds left wins it )

-NE 24 Philly 21 ( Adam Vinatieri's FG in the 4th ultimately decided the game )

And let's not forget how Vanderjagt lost that game vs Pitt

We cannot minimize the importance of a kicker - is Prater that guy ???

    I think so

So the toughtest schedule in the NFL was reduced to "beating a lot of unmotivated and inferior competition?"

Am I the only one who noticed Prater didn't exactly kick it out of the end zone very often on the road?

No, Rahim "Sht for brains" Moore owns almost all of the blame.

    - 6 games vs the AFC West :

    - the Chargers packed it in on Norv long before the season ended - actually, they gave up when they began letting good players leave - what message does that send ??? ... and Rivers has been a shell the past 2 seasons

    - the Chiefs - possibly the most pathetic offense in recent memory - and having a team in your division that suffers thru what they did with a murder/suicide, witnessed by a decent, albeit lame duck HC, with an obvious ( and understandable ) dwindling of passion for the game by players and fans alike, isn't exactly part of a difficult schedule

    - the Raiders - I hate saying this b/c I love the rivalry, but they are a complete mess with a secondary coach as their HC

    That's 6 games ...

Who else should we talk about on this "most difficult schedule" ???

    The Browns ???

The Saints ( which gave KC one of their 2 wins ) ???

The Panthers ( the other team that lost to KC )

I was not necessarily disagreeing with the premise. I just found it humorous that he sounded just like me. It is fun to know what a profound affect I'm having on him.

Plus, why don't you post more ?

When you do it it's satire. When I do it, I'm a disagreeable old crank.

    Have I got it now ? ;)

Your powers of observation are duly documented.
