Your first sentence doesn't make sense, a player who can play 3 LB positions at a high level almost certainly deserves whatever money he is scheduled to make, those players are not on the almost cut list.
New to this board, are we?

I think it does Jeremiah - we have a player who plays at high level across multiple positions - who has impaired himself as a character risk. That character risk cost the Broncos more than half a season last year. Yet - his return to the roster gave me hope about his character. The best resolution - therefore - is to keep him as a lower salary - a lower salary is what he is looking at in the open market - why not take the salary hit and stay with the Broncos?
It does seem we have a major issue at MLB and have had for some time now.
If DJ was the answer, he would have already shown it. I do agree that if he takes a paycut then his experience at all 3 LB positions would be very valuable to the team.
There is a chance David Harris gets cut by the Jets (though it seems more likely he will restructure). I will say that I like Vince Williams out of FSU, but short of a talent like Von, you probably can't trust the MLB spot to a rookie.
1st and 10 at DEN 20 (Shotgun) T.Tebow pass deep middle to D.Thomas for 80 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

I would love to see David Harris here ... I remember when we were trying to deal Cutler, Harris' name briefly came up . . . Harris would be a great addition
