I wasn't a fan of the pick at the time...and I haven't really warmed up to it...but I'm willing to let it play out.

I just don't think he'll ever be a 3-down DE so I don't believe you make that selection in the 1st round. A situational rusher can be found later in the draft.

exactly! Thats what I was saying immediatley after I saw him get dominated against college OT's. Shea was graded high but as an OLB, not a 4-3 DE. The premise of this post was the hope that Emery isnt too pig headed and realizes that he took a situational pass rusher at 19 and moves him over to any LB position where he s/b a solid 3 down player.
