Guns and conspiracy theories, together this time

    http://boingboing.net/2013/02/04/for...-conspira.html

Conspiracy theorist kills his two teenage kids and himself.

I guess if guns had been outlawed, he would have done it with rope? Or maybe he didn't really do it, and the whole family was murdered to cover up what he knew?

The thing is that we'll never know.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." - Kung fu Monkey

Those kids really come to life in that post ... oh, wait, they really don't. :( :( :(

Usually it's just a newspaper story. But the photos and anecdotes and so on really got to me on this one.

Obviously the fact that he didn't value or respect human life, or the lives of his own kids had nothing to do with this disaster.

His beliefs on 9/11 and his ownership of a gun caused it.

Don't pass up an opportunity to make yourself feel better about your own insecurities and demonize others. Even when some dude shoots his own kids. Capitalize on the opportunity.

    You're a sad dude.

I agree. We definitely shouldn't do anything to make the country a little bit safer.

He slapped the kids' aunt and mom around in the past and was arrested for it.

Obviously a "take them with me" approach from someone who is insecure, violent and has no regard for life,... he even took out the dog.

Makes sense. So why exactly should a guy like that have guns?

Well if making everyone safer is the goal...

Fbi statistics state more guns = less crime.

Countries with gun bans have higher violent crime rates

Australia,UK, mexico, brazil (heavily restricted) violent crime rates dwarf ours

Isnt it crazy how logic and statistical facts are like kriptonite to the left now... The anti-bill of rights crowd are the new tea party of the left.

One big bubble, no facts gettin in, just propaganda and outright bullchit circulating inside.
