Larry Allen Elected to the HOF; Jason Witten Wins NFL Man of the Year Award

Congrats to both players. Allen was one of the best OL of his era, and arguably the best OG of all-time. I wasn't sure if he would get in on the first ballot, but glad that the voters acknowledged how dominant he was.

Witten has been a great player for the Boys on and off the field. His speech was great, touching on his past, his present, his family, and Walter Payton.

Larry Allen was a no brainer. So, however, is Darren Woodson. And Charles Haley. Once again we Cowboys, even from a 3-Time Super Bowl Champion, are being snubbed by the HOF and YES I'm going to gripe about it - look how long it took Bob Hayes to get in, after he died. It has to be the preponderance of writer/voters coming from the North East that is keeping our guys out, like Drew Pearson.

So far from those teams, arguably in the discussion of GOAT's, we have the following in the HOF: Aikman, Irvin, Smith, Allen. That's it? For a 3 of 4 year Champ, only losing the one year in the NFCCG with a 1st year Switzer? Is Sanders in yet? I would even say Erik Williams deserves at least consideration, seeing as how he neutralized Reggie White for several years.
