That said I don't pay big money for either of them. Dollar for dollar Kenny Phillips is the best safety available.
    Isn't Phillips injured a lot ?

I don't know how much either player has left - I thought Reed looked pretty good at the end of last season, but I'll have to agree with the article on Fatman the other day - that Woodson - would be the best player to shut down that pesky TE coverage problem the Broncos show - especially with the Patriots as an opponent next year and a conference rival.

Just last year and 2009. Otherwise he's played full seasons.

I may be the only one but Hillman put up 100 all purpose yards in the playoff game against BALT. he was the youngest player in the NFL last year and go look at what CJ Spiller and Jammal Charles did their rookie years

I'd like to see Willis come back with a reduced contract, sign Steven Jackson, draft Lattimore in the 3rd and let him red shirt

This year you would have the vets, Hillman who you know will get more touches and could be a dynamic player and Moreno who has a cap friendly contract and has value. Plenty of RBs for the offense. Anything Lattimore produces in '13 is gravy

No need to draft a RB in round one for sure. Round two maybe. Round three+ for sure

The Woodson thing makes sense. I'm not sure it's $4million worth of sense, but I do think think he can comprehend---don't let him get behind you on the last play of the game.

Thank you for posting Fatman. I just never can remember to read him. Guess I'm too busy saving the world. ;)

I'd worry about paying anyone with one arm 10 plus million per year.

After all the Commissioner is actually just one big dick and he gets $28 Mil a year - think of how much more you can do with arms.

LGM doesn't mind giving fat ,stupid, lazy executives way more than they deserve. Look at the post office. As I pointed out the other day, letter carriers make between $51-54,000 a yaer.
Do you realize how much you have to pay the few upper levels of that organization to get the overall wage scale to $82,000+ ?
