The election two years ago showed that the D next to the name makes all the difference. Just look at the race for Auditor.

The republican had big time audit experience. The Dem had none.

Professional auditing standards state, both for internal and external auditing call for INDEPENDENCE. The Repub had it because she was not a ling time state employee. The dem was part of the State system for a long time. If people just read up instead of voting for the D you would have the better candidate in there.

Yes a conservative can win in this state, as you said it has been done. And with our current Gov Nitwit increasing spending and taxes a conservative has a very good chance next election for Gov.

Since when does experience matter. One of the districts just elected someone with no experience. But he had the name Kennedy and a D next to his name.
