XBox 360 Problem

Hey guys

my 360 shut off on its own last night.

The controller still turns on but the console will not (no red rings FYI).

it was acting a little funny as every once in a while the picture would not show up and i'd have to turn off the console and turn it back on. Now it seem like it's toast.

Has anyone suffered this fate before?

Is the console toast?

And, how can i get my DVD out of it?

Never had it happen, but sounds like a power supply issue. I would call MS customer support and have them help you debug the issue.

The symptoms you describe, with the picture going off, are not good, because the common failure point on these things is the graphics card. You may have fried your GPU, which could affect your ability to turn it on.
