    Live Draft Again?

Let's pick a time and date right now to do a live draft, assuming we go this route again. Majority rules.

    So 2 questions:

1.) Live draft - yes or no?

2.) What date (or days, such as Sundays) and time(s) work best for you?

Either kind of draft. I can't do March 8-11 if it's live. If it's slow, I can check in. If it's live, I can probably make any date/time work other than March 8-11 (which is kind of early anyway).

I, too, prefer a live draft and weekends would be best.

We should probably try to get it fairly close to the start of the season so that no one gets screwed over by a spring training injury and if there are some unsigned players who don't sign with a team until we'll know what their situation is. Also positional battles will be cleared up. Not that this has any chance of happening, but it's still a good example. It would suck to draft Aroldis Chapman as a SP only to find out he ends up the Closer or you draft a young closer only to find out after our fantasy draft the team decided to sign Jose Velverde to close for the team.

Not that this has anything to do with our fantasy league, but the Nationals wasting money on signing Rafeal Soriano was a joke. I don't get why teams do these type of things where they throw away money and block a young player in the process. The Nationals have no need for Soriano. This team already has Clippard who they can fall back on if the young Drew Storen fails. I'm not even a fan of Washington, but I do like Storen and I hate when teams do those types of things. The Phillies did the same thing signing Delmon Young instead of just going with Dominic Brown and in Texas they signed Lance Berkman which means no moving Kinzler to 1B and the Rangers top Prospect Jurickson Profar will continue to be blocked and if that's not bad enough the Berkman signing also blocks Mike Olt from getting consistent playing time. Oh and the fact that the Rangers refused to give up SS Elvis Andrus to get Justin Upton when they had Profar to take over SS and have a big gaping hole in the lineup after losing Hamilton makes no sense. I don't get why these teams refuse to give young players a real chance.

I propose having the draft on Sunday, March 24 in the evening. This will be one week before the season starts (March 31).

You should be receiving an invitation for the League and the live draft - Sunday, March 24 at 10:30 PM EST/7:30 PM PST. That was the only time slot I could get.

Also, don't forget to select your keepers.

I'm in and fine with the time slot.
