On Lanza over Bocelli. I don't know who Bocelli is and Lanza definitely has an inside track in my life. My mom's told me countless times that she listened to a lot of Lanza when she was pregnant with me. His Christmas album was also the preferred music of choice at Xmas time as well when I was a little kid. I don't think I've ever had a chance to dislike Lanza or to like another opera singer more than him.

OK, I've been double dunkin myself in the clips that Walsh posted and even youtubed some Cliff and Issacs per Predicto's suggestion and I gotta say. Maybe I need a few more days, but as of right now. I'm not feelin it from any of the artists. I'll give it a few more days as initially not liking music I'm not real familiar with isn't out of the ordinary.

Or maybe it really is Bob Marley and nothing else reggae for me. Kinda like Mario Lanza and opera. I'm not a big opera fan by any stretch, but if I discovered a Lanza album. Where all he's singing is children's songs like Farmer in the Dell and Three Blind Mice. I'd rock that sh*t and would love it as Mario is the tits.

Pretty much the only Nashville style country music I can stand is old Patsy Cline. Each to his own.

Yeah, I hear ya on the mood thing. I do that to. Lately I've been in a big White Stripes/Jack White mood as well as a live Black Sabbath mood. I'll give it a couple more days for the reggae thing. Speaking of live Black Sabbath and me needing some time to like or appreciate certain music or artists. I've come to believe that their "Past Lives" live album is 2nd only to Otis Redding's "In Person at the Whiskey a Go Go" live album far as greatest ever live albums go. The first few times I heard it though I was not impressed whatsoever.

I had never heard of him until a couple of months ago when I was channel surfing and he caught my eye performing on Austin City Limits. I've become a big Jack White fan since. It's a shame the ACL episode is no longer available on th PBS web site.
