Shady has apparently apologized in a statement and admitted that his account was not hacked after all. That was such a lame excuse.

Some of you think this is no big deal, I disagree. It shows spectacularly bad judgment that makes me question what is going on with him and whether is affected his performance last year on the field, which was not great.

Iggy I don't know about you, but I did some pretty immature things at 24, and I think in this case it was one of those times. I also wouldn't be shocked if he were drinking a few beers as well when this went down. He got ugly, and went off because something she said set him off. It's a learning lesson. Now if he doesn't learn from this then he is a total punk and classless at that. I know myself there were things done, and said from age 18-26 that I wish i would not have done, or said but once it's done it's done. Sometimes it's done to the ones you love most.

I highly doubt this affected his performance.. I think our team being one big pile of chit was the reason for his performance

Oh I did plenty of stupid stuff, believe me, but not this stupid. The bottom line is, why have a spat on Twitter, where anyone in the world can see it? That's just asinine.

McCoy was quite evil in his tweets, sometimes we can use immaturity as an excuse but in this case I think not. The guy is old enough to know right from wrong and how a man should act. Deplorable IMO.

Now, if only Vick would follow Reid out the door maybe football would be fun again.

Blame Algore for inventing the internet. Dirty laundry is more prevelent. have you seen what people twitter about??? This stuff happened before, it just wasn't out there for everyone to know about it.

There are some problems that can affect our work. This is the off-season and people get in more trouble. Hell, work/football may be thereaputic for him.

Bottom line - until I see it affect him on the field - I really don't care about this stuff. It just shows he doesn't have all his chit together. Few do. I admire those that do. I'm not disappointed when they don't. What's the alternative - you want to trade him???

No one is arguing it wasn't evil.. immature.. wrong.. deplorable.. etc, etc.

But it has nothing to do with football - so I really don't care. Let KC have all the choir boys. Give me players that are the best at their position. I'm ready for a lombardi. Just check your drama at the door is all I ask.

If I'm an Eagles fan, this is my line of thinking, if you took the players who are immature and have baby mama drama, and removed them from the league, you would have a much less exciting NFL. As long as he gets this sorted out and doesn't allow it to escalate any further, this is a sticks and stones argument. Because there are no fewer than 28 teams that would take him over their current starting RB.

don't know for certain but if he was drunk he might have thought he was texting to her rather then tweeting. ive done that a couple times where my addressbook has both a twitter account and phone number and I've had friends text me saying why are you tweeting that rather then texting that to me.

He clearly knew he was tweeting because he asked his followers to harass her and tell her to get a job. But...I do suspect he was not sober.

As for the choir boys versus jailbirds discussion, you clearly don't want too many jailbirds or you end up like the Bengals or Lions. You can get some short-term advantages that way in personnel, but your team chemistry will suffer in the long run if you have a bunch of rogues.

The guy learns from it and there's no problem, if he keeps playing in these types of messes we can easily move on. RBs are everywhere. He was in the wrong no matter what the bitch says or did. When he looks back on it he needs to come to the same conclusion.

    This is a young team.

We tolerate an admitted/convicted dog torturer/murderer, yet struggle with a kid and his baby mama drama? Really?
