Biggest Defensive Dissappointment of the last season

Joe Mays - I wondered about his contract when he signed it - now I just amazed that he pulled it off with a unusually smart Bronco FO (still stick to the conclusion that Xanders signed him and lost his job for it). ;)

Disappointment, with a silver lining - Tracy Porter ... but with his absence, my new favorite Bronco was able to step in and perform in amazing fashion ...

So does this count as a "disappointment" ?

    No - that wasn't disappointing.

Biggest disappointment? How about Rahim Moore blowing the biggest game of the year and ultimately failing his team and the #2 ranked D. We had players like Vickerson and Unrein step up and play even beyond their athletic abilities and all that wasted on one boneheaded play

Was Doom a disappointment in 12? I don't think he's earned his big money so far. Am I just being too harsh?

    No not at all.

Where was the pass rush in that game ? They jiggled their whole OLine one week before that game and stoned us. WTH is that about ?
They told me that if I voted for Sarah Palin for Vice President I'd be electing an idiot. I voted for Sarah Palin and they were right

I agree that is the biggest mystery about what happened in the Divisional round.

Dumervil was decent. Good enough to make the pro bowl. Just a bit inconsistent this year. Doom had his best year agains the run. He was also playing injured for a bit of the season with a shoulder. I think some have gotten too spoiled with Von Miller.

Joe Mays I didn't expect much out of, but I suppose you could go with him beings we gave him a new deal and named him our starter and he was just brutally bad.

Tracy Porter played in like 4 games due to injury. I guess an injury dissapointment you could say.

Most underrated may have been Mike Adams. He isn't turning games around for us, but a smart savvy vet back there not making mistakes. Something we have not had at the S position in years.

That would win biggest defensive play of the year. There is a difference between player and play. Rahim was our most improved player for 16 weeks.

Didn't the Angels have a pictcher named Donnie Moore who gave up a dinger to the Red Sox and kept the Angels out of the World Series - after being up 3 games to 1 and with 5-1 lead late in the decisive game? Donnie never got over it - and eventually committed suicide.

My hope is Rahim Moore - has the opposite story to that with his career - where playing well is his best revenge.

Yup, Donnie Moore. What a sad story. They were afraid Mitch Williams was going to do the same thing after he gave up the HR to Joe Carter. Instead he just turned to drinking, which I think he had that issue before he gave up that HR anyway.

Rahim has a strong faith. I think he will be fine mentally.

well if you count just sacks you would not count all those turn overs he made knocking the football out of the QB's hands
