    I'd trade our 24/7 Wal-Mart and 24/7 IHOP for a Ho Stroll...

A place called Manassas, in the Old Dominion, has got to have a ho stroll somewhere.

From the article it sounds like the club owner isn't a nice guy. Wonder what set him off?

On a sidenote: Danny Smith is interviewing for the Steelers ST coaching job, eh. Can't say I'd be sad to see him go.

Miske was released on $250,000 bond, the Star Adviser said. He has an extensive criminal record that includes 10 convictions since 1993, six of them for felonies.
Miske didn’t immediately reply to a voice message left for him. The incident took place at Miske’s M Nightlife nightclub at Restaurant Row, according to the Star Advertiser, which said Miske also is owner and president of Kamaaina Termite and Pest Control.
The newspaper reported that in 1995, Miske was convicted of fraudulent use of a credit card and three counts of theft. He was sentenced to 50 hours of community service and five years of probation, and was ordered to pay $5,300 in restitution.
Five months later, he was found guilty of kidnapping, felony attempted assault and speeding, the Star Advertiser reported. He was sentenced to five years’ probation, assessed a $105 fine and ordered to pay $625 in restitution, the newspaper said.
In 2006, Miske was convicted of third-degree assault in connection with an altercation with a high school student and was sentenced to a year of probation. The student was granted a petition for an injunction against harassment by Miske, according to the report.
Exactly the sort of guy I'd like to party with.....

I don't see how you can string up the guy for this, or put it with a failed drug test to determine that this is a pattern of bad behavior. 2 completely different situations. Sorry, I'm just not ready to say that a guy in his 20's, in Hawaii for what is basically a vacation, is displaying "piss poor judgement" by going to a club.

It was an NFL sanctioned event. He was (reportedly) a victim who was attacked. To claim that he has had a pattern of such behavior, because he failed a drug test during a lockout when he had no idea when he would be again under the rules of the NFL, is totally unfair. But if you listened to you Trent is Packman Jones and that is nonsense.
First, how dare you call me cranky.. I may be old and white but I am always pleasant :)

I'm not stringing him up for this, not calling for his head or to be traded or anything... but his track record simply isn't one of "good judgement" and this wasn't "good judgement" either. How bad was it? That's debatable, but for a guy with essentially two strikes already, he's not exactly showing that he's staying clear of trouble. Trouble finds people who put themselves into places where trouble happens a lot, like on the Ho Stroll. He's not Pacman Jones... but Pacman Jones wasn't PacMan on day one, he went down a path that eventually lead to being "PacMan the rainmaker". TW has some choices to make as to what path he wants to take. The path where he's out at clubs at 1:30 AM doesn't lead him to any place good.

Pacman was Pacman at West Virginia, trust me. Trent is not on that same path, not even close.

Blaze: WTF is up with your justice system? Are you jails so overcrowed you can be on probation, committ kidnapping and felony assault and still not go to jail?

    Danny: I laughed out loud.

Let's see what the rest of the information is. Sorry, but I'm not buying that TW was sitting peacefully in his seat and this guy came out of nowhere and tasered him and cracked him upside the head. If that turns out to be the case then I'll absolve him of all responsibility. But let's put this way, would anyone be surprised that he was involved in some altercation that led up to this? Not me. If he was involved in some altercation prior to the assault then I'll join Kick and say that this is exactly the kind of stuff that he needs to be avoiding. If it turns out he did absolutely nothing wrong then it's no big deal. I sincerely doubt we've heard everything that went on.

Oh I agree, Trent was not just hit out of the blue. But knowing what we know of this club owner, and seeing as the police said Trent was not at fault, I thnk I know which way I'm leaning.

But again this is not a guy who can't stay out of trouble. And I stand by my statement that there was nothing wrong with a young man in Hawaii being in a club at 1:30.

Agreed. I doubt we ever will.

As for Trent or any player not getting caught up in this type of stuff, shrugs. Would I like all Skins players to be choirboys? Sure, especially those that are significant pieces of the puzzle to the Skins becoming a successful franchise year in year out. It is what it is though. As long as young 20something year old men are significant pieces of that puzzle. We can rest assured there will be multiple knuckleheads scattered among the various puzzle pieces.

Ah, it was Mike Miske. He's known to have had some run ins with the law. I don't know the details of the incident as I'm no longer involved in that scene in Hawaii. Maybe 10 years ago I would have had the scoops! The word I heard though is that some people in either Trent's crew or just one of the player's crews started spraying champagne all over the place. Some of the locals didn't appreciate that. What happens a lot of times in these scuffles is the local thugs/guys with power won't take nicely to anyone, especially a mainlander disrespecting them. I would guess it was something along those lines. Throw in alcohol and a lot of testosterone and that's what you get.

In a related note, we have some idiots all the times when these events happen. See here:

Hawaii is a great place, but I do admit we have some retard element that act a fool.

Yeah, that didn't look good, getting straight steamrolled by dude, for babydoll. Looks like she came very close to a full on cement face plant. She did recover nicely though, held onto her purse and everythang.
