You will when you get my age and you've got to 'muster' everything you've got just to get out of bed. And when you muster everything you've got in bed you've got nothing left to get out of bed. Believe me, time is not on your side.

Probably simply had extra money left in the budget ... and no way is the military going under budget voluntarily.

Take it easy there, dude. A Muster is essentially a checking in type of event. It takes about 10 minutes. You verify phone number, address and you get paid around $210 for your ten minutes of time.

Now, if you get some no $hit activation orders, then you can be worried. But I've never heard of Airmen being involuntarily activated off IRR.

You'll do one Muster a year until your 8 is up.

    Relax big dog.

I never heard of your desciption of what a muster is. I will go with yours, since you served after I did. I can say that I never once had to make any calls nor ever hear about the possiblity, while serving out the IR element of my enlistment. $210 ? I wish they had been a calling

    Yeah man, that's essentially it.

Assuming that Speedy went out on good terms, they are also gonna try and get him back into the AF.

So retention, contact info and a little paperwork is all it consists of. I have my last one this month. I walk in, tell em the answer is still "no, but I may get back in as an officer in the future" and I rook out.

I'm wayyy too busy to go back in, although I'd love to. And I'm not risking leaving my wife and newborn to go deploy again. That's the biggest reason I got out, the family effect being in has.

Not for me. If I stayed single, I'd stay in until they escorted me out kicking and screaming. I loved being a Grunt, hated being an Army husband.

The New World Order wants another nation conquered and they want their regular storm troopers to go back to work now. Oh, and if you have a choice, I urge you to not give your skills to serve more war, but if you are forced back into duty. Stay safe man.
As defined by the Official Terrorism Training For Law Enforcement:
    What Is Domestic Terrorism?
Extreme force and violence perpetrated by
the people government of a country, within that country,
for the purpose of coercing its government and population public
    into modifying its behavior"
