1.) Bruschi man...love that guy. Well deserved. Has to be the most popular Patriot ever?
2.) The new receiver from Rutgers is pretty huge man...6'3" and 231 (listed as 255 on Patriots.com, LOL) Jenkins, Jones, Dobson, Aiken, and Slater are all 6 feet or taller. Amendola and Boyce are 5'11" with Edelman the shortest at 5'10"... the Pats have been loading up on big receivers this off season..not that I expect all of them to stick... Boldin must have made an impression on the coaching staff...
4.) That being said...and even it being late May...the list above is a bit concerning....we need all of those guys to heal up good...knock on wood people...

Harrison is an impressive talent, but also maybe a bit troubled. Supposedly the guy who trashed the combine hotel room. Very raw

Yeah I think the hotel room thing is about as close to irrelevant as it gets. Hopkins was a late 1st type guy before that came out and still went in the late 1st. Harrison was a late round/UDFA type before the hotel story and that's what he ended up being. Maybe somebody would've gambled on him the 6th or 7th otherwise, but he still had the same on-field issues either way...I don't think this was a Dennard situation where his stock dropped 3-4 rounds. He doesn't play up to his measurables all the time, and he's not particularly quick despite good straight line speed and jump numbers. Plus he apparently had/has some sort of foot injury that the Bears failed him on a physical for. Worth a shot on a UDFA contract for the chance they can do something with those measurables for sure, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if he ends up one of the first cuts, either.

A reference to a meme over five years old! The humanity. No wonder I got the reference :)
And it hasn't been too bad being the Scarlet connection, so might as well pump until we run the well dry. Plus McCourty, Harmon and Ryan have been the 'significant' investments. McCourty has turned out really well despite and iffy stretch. Ryan seems to have the well rounded skill set to contribute somehow. Harmon is the x-factor. If he flames out quick and is exposed, then the rutgers bias went too far.
Other than that, there are a ton of Rutgers guys, but not a lot of 'wasted' picks. Plus we are riding the Francis good will considering his value.
They were both there. The video is of Tom at first and Tedy jumps into the scrum a bit after.
Ah...thanks..will check it out...haven't bothered to look at Brady's celebration...(why watch a guy who has 3 SB rings , millions of dollars, and a model wife celebrate winning more $$$$).

IMO, Schiano would have been all over McCourty and Ryan. For the rest of them, I think it's more because the Patriots need DEPTH more than other teams. Our starters are set...the team is already built...we just need depth type of guys who "get with the program" quickly...and Rutgers is a good pipeline for that as their players aren't plucked by other GM's like players at Alabama are.

Except that he wasn't all over Ryan. He picked Jonathan Banks instead. He picked some LB nobody except his mama ever heard of over Beauharnais, didn't make a waiver claim on Haslam or try to sign Harrison...I understand perfectly why BB likes the Rutgers guys so much...just find it a little odd that the guy who recruited and coached them seems to like them not quite as much is all.
