    First time since 2003...

    that the AFC will not be represented by the Patriots, Steelers or Colts in the Superbowl.

    Agreed.

    Heck, you could even go back to the 2000 season and say that the only teams that represented the AFC were the Patriots, Colts, Steelers and Ravens (the only exception being the Raiders in 2002).

    I think that speaks volumes to how top heavy of a conference it is as well.
