    How long will it take the players to buy in to Kelly's systems?

    Kelly is going to need most of his time up front to evaluate his existing players. He then needs to develop a system that will work for the players he is going to keep. It's going to be tricky with FA's because you don't know if they are really "all in" yet. Therefore, Kelly and the players really only have the post draft camp and the OTA's to figure out who gets it and who doesn't.

    You can't wait until TC. That's when you need the reps to make sure you can run this stuff. Anybody's who's not bought in at that point should already be gone. Does that make sense?

    I think it will take at least 2 years. He has to turn around the roster and get rid of the slouched like DRC, Queenie Dunlap, Demtress Bell and assorted others.
    Nothing left to do but smile,smile,smile. Have a Grateful Day. :}

    I think players will buy in right away because it is very clear that he has the full support of Lurie and Roseman--either they buy in or they get walking papers.

    The bigger question IMO is what happens if he struggles initially. Do vets begin to doubt his schemes can work in the pros?

    Most of the older vets will be cut. I think we have transition period this year. At best 7-9 but probably more like 5-11. 2014 will be the start of our upward trend as long as most things go to plan. The draft will be key. Qb pos will be major issue until resolved as well.

    Those who don't buy in now, will be weeded out.

    I think that Chip will get things turned around in a hurry. By 2014, we will be in the playoffs.
