    Shrine Bowl game

On now. NFLPA on tonight. These are the games where people are quick to make judgements off one game. :)

would have expected nice games for Graham and Cameron, as I do think Cameron is the best-suited to succeed in this game, but Graham is already off to rough start.

Michael is interesting, hard to judge because of that A&M system.
1st and 10 at DEN 20 (Shotgun) T.Tebow pass deep middle to D.Thomas for 80 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

Michael is a guy who has been an odd prospect. Was highly recruited coming out. In and out as a RB at A&M due to injuries and a guy like Cyrus Gray.

I keep waiting for Michael to impress me, and although I do not "dislike" him he just seens to have never hit that next step to me. Right when you think he might be climbing the ladder he falls down.

Really like Chad Bumphis as a mid/late round return man/slot WR type. Had offers all over the SEC but stayed in Mississippi. I think he is a difference make at the next level, could be that X factor in an offense. Reminds me of a Colts/Patriots type WR.

The guy who just got the pick 6 Nigel Malone has really caught my eye the last two years. Even catching my eye more is the other K State CB Allen Chapman.

NFL PA not as impressed with the prospects in this draft. Few decent late round guys but really the talent is pretty weak in this game.

The OLine talent here was just awful. No technique. No strength. Both lines got pushed around so badly that I'm beginning to worry that what I perceived as a great DLine year might just be one sorry year for OLine.

So because an OL gets blown out in your opinion in a Shrine Bowl it means the DL are overrated???

    STREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETCH!

You gotta be able to break down the DL based on many attributes just not bullying some OL around. Go watch some film on the DL getting all the hype. There is much more to a DL then just pushing an OL over. Not to mention that this was the shrine bowl in which most of these guys late/undrafted.... NFLPA games had very little talent in it. I would guess 75% of players in the NFLPA game go undrafted. Shrine bowl a lot of those guys go 5-undrafted. So keep in mind you are not exactly looking at the best prospects in this years draft. Few of those shrine bowl guys have a chance to go higher, but not many.

I was watching the practices on ESPN this week, and they were just awful. Glorified JuCo players, really. A lot of these players were late round talents/free agent pick ups, or project players.

There are always a few gems that can handle the pressure and transform, but in all likelihood, that game (which I didn't watch) was filled with camp fodder.

I'm always looking for the late round gem and I usually come up with a couple from this game. Just kinda dissapointed is all.

Some of us look beyond DBs.
