Pretty cool little article about playcalling and NFL offensive systems

    http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...brady-patriots

Granted I clicked on this because of the Pats connection, but it was really informative.

The idea of a three man route concept seems some what obvious in hindsight, but cool none the less.

That is interesting stuff. And yet many people consider the Patriots system hard to learn.

Well, this doesn't really go into detail about all the different option routes based on defensive coverage that WRs are supposed to learn.
    Fear is the mind killer

Well Brady is what makes the system go. Replace Brady with Joe Webb and the 'system' would come screeching to a halt.
