it absolutely could be one of those times. in fact, i acknowledged as much in my first post:


possible, and probably likely. does that sound like someone who has declared Te'o exempt from any repercussions? cos that's not how it reads to me, but then i wrote it and meant that so maybe it reads that way to me for that reason.

what i did say, though, was:

again, Occam's Razor suggests it's probably not what happened; and there's enough evidence at this time, based on the timeline, that Te'o continued sharing a story he knew to be inaccurate if, in fact, he was duped. but i know, from personal experience, that something like this is possible.
