He's average. Here's the list of guys I'd take over him:
Brady
Manning
Rodgers
Brees
Eli
Ryan
Roethlisberger
RG3
Wilson
Stafford
Kaepernick
He's in Alex Smith / Tony Romo / Matt Schaub territory - good enough to win, not good enough to make you a consistent title threat unless you have great coaching, defense and talent on offense. Baltimore has all three of those, but if you swapped him with Alex Smith or Matt Schaub, would you really have a different Ravens team?
The Ravens are in a tough spot though, because without him the have to take a real step back since Tyrod Taylor is no Wilson/Kaepernick. At the same time, I just don't think a guy like Flacco is worth the $20MM/yr they'll likely need to give him to keep him. That's the mistake the Chargers made with Rivers, and as the talent around him has eroded, he's been exposed more and more.

Do you actually watch the games? If so, you must have no clue what you are looking at.

This is more for next year. But 3x the price of Smith?
I think Smith is crap, but 3x the cost i think the Ravens are probably better off going that route.
Mac9, to the true warrior. the ultimate competitor and the most worth adversary any athlete has ever faced off against. He was an inspiration for both his on the field play, off the field contributions and his leadership. The world is now a worse place without him.

Well, if he hadn't thrown that damn bomb to Smith the price would be less. :)
You mean the duck that Moore misplayed like a 9 year old catching a pop fly?

Yep, I've criticized Flacco for years, and thought he was holding his team back, but it looks like he has finally arrived. He finally deserves some of the hype he gets.
I can't say that I'm completely unhappy with his performance; after all, resigning him will eliminate their ability to resign some other players. At this point, I hope they win the SB; I'd love to see Lewis and their OC retire, then have Reed decide to go out on top, eliminating them from the "elite team" status.

And to think, he has Rahim Moore to thank for it all, especially if the Ravens beat SF. It never even gets started without that play.
