Here I sit - and I can tell you - in my mind the possibilities of the Broncos losing today is very remote. The Broncos preparation plan through the two week off period - was brilliant. This team was not off celebrating its 11 victory close out of the season - they were healing up - staying loose physically and focused on the next possible opponent.

I have experienced on several occassions the violation of the feeling that the Broncos were going to play a closely contested game - that will depend on close calls and big play turnarounds, but been found monsterously wrong with the Broncos on the losing end of a blow out. The feeling I have for this game - is the kind of feeling I have only had betrayed just once - in all of Denver Bronco history. The 1996 loss to the Jagwads was one of the greatest emotional let downs - as a Bronco fan - that I had everfelt. If the Broncos lose today - it will be on that scale I will measure it.

If the Broncos make it to the next round and so do the Patriots - I'm sure I will feel a litle different.

I expect the Bronco TEs will have a big game today. The killer for the Ravens defensively is that they will have to cover D. Thomas and Decker - making the TEs with an LB covering easy money. Featuring the TEs in practice this week would have also been logical as that is where the Broncos have room to improve in its Defensive game. Also - passes to Knowshon out of the backfield that would isolate him on an LB - will suck the energy out of the Ravens at this altitude.

I hope I see 76,000 screaming fans when the Ravens are on offense and 76,000 church mice when the Broncos are on offense.
