For all the criticism that Shanny is rightfully getting right now, its not forgotten by me that we would not have even been here is not for Shanny A) Seeing that RG$$$ was the guy, and B) being so sure that he was willing to trade a fortune for him, and C) then designing an offense that made RG$$$ a legit OROY favorite (even if RW edges him out with his strong December). We all knew that RG$$$ was vulnerable to getting hurt with all his running, but in the end he got hurt scrambling out of the pocket, not on a designed run - impossible for Shanny himself to have avoided that result with any change in play calling.

Shanny definitely left RG$$$ in there too long yesterday, no doubt about it. But half the reason for that was that RG$$$ was acting like a warrior, saying all the right things, and in some part, earning even more respect from his team mates.... sometimes that's more important than one game, or Shanny's reputation. In the end, Shanny effed up by letting his ultra competitive QB stay in there and compete. But we aren't even participating in that game, if not for having an ultra competitive QB with some mad skills, in the first place.

I'm just pumped that we have a team we can all get psyched about finally, instead of being apathetic about during this time of the year.

I'd be absolutely shocked if he wins one with Kurt Cousins. However, if he wins one with Kirk Cousins i'll be ecstatic.

Seriously though, I'd love Shanny for winning a super bowl but would still think he handled this situation horribly. They are not mutually exclusive IMO.

Perhaps, but winning a SB would trump how Shanny handled this present situation, at least for many. That is the ultimate goal after all. Even if it comes at the expense of a well liked/loved player's career.
