    HDMI Splitter

I'm pretty sure we discussed this some somewhere else, but I can't find it. One of the TV's we have is a 37 inch with only 2 HDMI ports. Right now the TV has a Satellite Box and Blu-Ray player connected to the 2 HDMI ports. We'd like to move the gaming systems to it as well to move them somewhere my daughter and friends can use when we're watching TV in the living room. So we really need the added HDMI ports. I remember some people saying to buy a Receiver, but I don't feel like shelling out over $200 for a Receiver. I'd rather just buy a HDMI splitter, but want to know if anyone has 1 and has any advice on what to look for before buying one?

I'd like to find 1 that is at least 1 to 3. Meaning you hook that splitter up to 1 slot and have 3 HDMIs running off that 1 slot. Does running off a splitter slow the electronics running off that splitter down? xBox360 will the splitter detect it's on and the TV displays it or will I need to select the port on the splitter I want the TV to recognize?

Here are just a few I found on Amazon:

Not exactly in line with your question -- but substantially all cabling is of equal quality. Don't get ripped off by salesmen trying to get you to buy expensive cables.
An example of why conversation around here can be ... difficult: http://forums.kffl.com/threads/30363...70#post6077070
