We reduced govt. spending, raised taxes, and ended two wars brought on by the Bush. I'd say we're doing the right things to help the economy. With so many nations dependent on trade for the economic growth, stagnation in the rest of the world is bound to slow our growth.

The federal government ran a deficit (the difference between what it owes and what revenues it takes in) of $292 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2013—October and November 2012—amounting to $4.8 billion of borrowed money every day. The Congressional Budget Office reported that federal revenues rose by $30 billion—a ten percent increase over last year—but spending increased even more, going up by $87 billion (16%).

At this rate of deficit growth we will end up this year at $1.775 Trillion dollar deficit.

Of course it makes sense - unless you are in denial -which you are. You set up the parameters of performace for an economy - I suggested a high performing economy - and then you suggested you didn't like some aspect that created that performance - which equals regulation of some kind - does it not?

It is the offseason and the slowest month of the year.
BTW I do not watch the combine. Biggest non event of the year.
One of these years I want to make it down to ARI for some Spring Training and golf

I had a great time down in Glendale at the White Sox / Dogers complex - a couple years ago - I highly recommend it to anyone. I fulfilled a life long dream of mine to see spring training - now I want to go back.
