The U.S. Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit ruled that a police officer cannot pull you over and arrest you for flipping him off.
Flippin' off a cop is constitutional"the ancient gesture of insult is not the basis for a reasonable suspicion of a traffic violation or impending criminal activity."
The case stemmed from an incident that occurred in 2006 when a man gave a policeman the finger when the cop was shooting him with radar. The policeman later pulled the man over and arrested him for disorderly conduct.
Typical.
C'mon everybody, it's not only constitutional, but it's the right thing to do.
