I really think they have no option but to cut Vick based on that article. And he is basically pressing to be cut by refusing to redo his contract.

If for some reason they did keep Vick, I would stop watching every game and just kind of tune out until the next coach inevitably got fired and someone else came in to rebuild for real.

Iggy if Chip kelly ends up being the coach here, Mike vick is the perfect Qb to run his system.....This is what kills me! I want no parts of Kelly or Vick.

There is no reason to rush to any decision on Vick. Yes there is 3 mill in guarantees but I do believe he has value in a trade if they decide they don't want to keep him. Lets remember Foles makes peanuts as does Edwards. They can afford to carry Vicks salary. Lets face it he is probably the best fall back plan if Foles turns into Bobby Hoying. Now if a team comes along and offers you a 4th round pick for Vick you take it, its one more pick that you didn't have and it essentially cost you 3 mill bucks for it. So be it, every year we win the salary cap championship. Its ok to spend up to the cap.

Before anyone says well they are over the cap next year. They are not over it. They can roll over cap money from this year to next which will put them under plus once they cut Demtress Bell and his 9.6 mill salary they will have money. Then add in Nmandi is not going to make 15.6 mill for the Eagles next year, Cullen Jenkins 5.5 mill etc. They will either renegotiate those contracts or cut them.

Vick is a cancer and he sold out his teammates once again. Reid should have left him where he found him, on the trash pile. The decision to move to Vick ='d the end of Reid as the Eagles HC. For all that can be said about Reid, save for George Hegamin, Reid for the most part was loyal through and through for his players. But loyalty only goes so far and has to be a 2 way street. Reid built a team of pansies and role players. With no heart. Not a player in the lot of them has heart. Well, save for Vick. Maybe he can play multiple positions on his next team.

No, no and double no. Vick is not even close to the perfect QB. He is old, he is a turnover machine, he is slowing down as a runner and he can not read a D to save his life. Foles would be 100% better.
